Exhibition Concept
The concept of the IDEA 9202 exhibition is rooted in the need to make affordable housing accessible and comprehensible to the general public. By leveraging interactive displays, immersive experiences, and educational content, the exhibition seeks to bridge the gap between complex housing issues and everyday understanding. The goal is to provide visitors with a comprehensive view of affordable housing solutions and inspire action and awareness.
Design Challenge
The primary challenge was to create an exhibition that not only conveys critical information about affordable housing but also engages visitors in a meaningful way. The exhibition needed to be informative, interactive, and visually appealing to capture the interest of a diverse audience and effectively communicate the complexities of housing affordability.
Design Solution
To address the design challenge, the exhibition incorporates a variety of interactive elements, including touchscreens, virtual reality experiences, and physical models. These elements are designed to provide a hands-on learning experience, allowing visitors to explore different aspects of affordable housing solutions. The exhibition also features informative panels, multimedia presentations, and real-life case studies to enhance understanding and engagement.

Reflection
My goal was to create an exhibition that communicated the complex issues of affordable housing while engaging a diverse audience. Balancing educational content with user engagement was a critical learning area. I realized the importance of designing an experience that captures interest, not just presenting information. This shift in approach enhanced the visitor experience. This project deepened my understanding of interactive design and user engagement. Simplifying complex information and creating an engaging user experience taught me the value of empathy, collaboration, and iterative design.
